Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information arkasdigital.ca collects, why it is collected, how long it is kept and who it is shared with. Arkas Digital collects the information you submit through the enquiry form and basic technical data needed to serve and secure the site.
Last updated August 2026.
Owner to review before launch. This policy accurately describes how this website currently handles data, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have it checked against your actual business practices and obligations before you rely on it.
What information do we collect?
Two categories, and nothing beyond them.
Information you give us
When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, work email address, company name, website, company size, service interest, indicated budget range and whatever you write in the message field. You choose what to put in these fields.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to operate and secure the site. If analytics is enabled on this site, it is disclosed in the cookies section below.
Why do we collect it, and on what basis?
- To reply to your enquiry. This is the reason the form exists, and the information is used for that purpose.
- To operate and secure the website. Server logs and spam prevention rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and free of abuse.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations where a business relationship follows.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Who has access to it?
Your enquiry is stored in this website’s database and emailed to Arkas Digital. The service providers who process data on our behalf are our web host, which stores the site and its database, and our email provider, which delivers the notification. Both act on our instructions and neither uses your information for their own purposes.
If a service provider is added later, this policy will be updated before that happens.
How long is it kept?
Enquiries are kept for two years from your last contact with us, then deleted, unless a business relationship began, in which case records are kept for as long as required for legal and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Cookies may be set by our caching layer to serve pages correctly, and by WordPress if you log in as an administrator.
Fonts on this site are served from our own domain rather than from a third-party font service, so loading a page does not send your IP address to another company.
Owner to update if Google Analytics 4, advertising pixels or a booking tool are added. Each one must be named here, with what it collects and how to opt out.
What rights do you have?
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and withdraw consent for us to contact you. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in Canada and are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Where is your information stored?
This website and its database are hosted on infrastructure that may be located outside your country. Where information is transferred internationally, it remains subject to this policy and to the safeguards our providers have in place.
